October 2009, Dr. Brooke Kyle Joins Women's Care
Springfield, Ore. – Dr. Brooke Kyle has joined Women’s Care as an obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN). A board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, she previously was in private practice in Miami, Fla. She will work in the Springfield Women’s Care office, located at 3100 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
Kyle earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., graduating with honors. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, where she also completed her OB/GYN residency. In addition to serving as chief administrative resident, she earned many academic distinctions. She was named OB/GYN Resident of the Year, Best Laparoscopic Surgeon in the OB/GYN residency, and Best OB/GYN Resident and Student Teacher. She is certified by the board of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is fluent in Spanish.
Kyle has a deep commitment to community service, and has provided medical care and comfort for AIDS patients, victims of Hurricane Katrina, and medically underserved women in Australia and Zimbabwe.
