Thinking About A Baby? Planning Made Simple At Free Women’s Care Workshop
SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Are you planning to have your first child, or would simply like to know more before your next? Women’s Care is offering a free preconception planning workshop to help women prepare for that possibility. Dr. Brooke Kyle of Women’s Care will lead the workshop and share her expertise on topics such as fertility, nutrition, exercise, genetic testing and much more. The free workshop will be held on Monday, Nov. 16, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Women’s Care, 3100 MLK Jr. Parkway, Springfield. Reserve a spot today by calling to pre-register: (541) 345-7756.
“Preparedness is the first step towards a calm, worry-free pregnancy,” says Kyle. “Educating yourself is the best way to handle any pregnancy concerns. Knowledge reduces the mother’s stress, which in turn makes the entire experience a more positive one.”
Kyle, a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, recently moved to Oregon from Miami, Fla., where she was in private practice. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., graduating with honors. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, where she also completed her OB/GYN residency. Kyle is certified by the board of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is fluent in Spanish.
