Dr. Dotters attended medical school at UCLA Medical Center and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1983. She completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986, where she stayed as an Assistant and Associate Professor until 1995. In 1995, Dr. Dotters, her husband Vern Katz, MD, and the couple’s three children moved to Eugene. When not working, Dr. Dotters enjoys swimming, golf, cooking, and quilt making.

Dr. Garrett earned her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed both her OB/GYN residency and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Garrett practiced at Brown University until 2002, when she and husband Craig Seidman, MD, moved to Eugene. Dr. Garrett has three children. |

Kathryn graduated from the Human Genetics Program at Sarah Lawrence College. She has been instrumental in bringing comprehensive genetic counseling to Eugene. She has been active in the System Ethics Committee of Providence Health & PeaceHealth Systems. Kathryn was the onsite principal investigator in the BRCA1 Predisposition Testing Program at Harvard's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. At the University of Michigan, she aided in the verification of genetic markers for the Huntington disease gene. Locally, Kathryn served on the board of directors for both the Emerald Chapter of the March of Dimes and in her professional organization's Northwest branch. She is certified by the National Boards of Genetic Counseling and Medical Genetics.
