Madison Knox, DNP/CNM

Certified Nurse Midwife

Madison attended the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology with a minor in both Chemistry and Spanish. Following graduation, she began working as a medical assistant with midwives in Southern Oregon and had the opportunity to spend two months as a birth assistant in rural Guatemala. Madison attended Columbia University for both her Masters in Nursing, as well as her Doctorate in Midwifery and Women’s Healthcare.
Madison is delighted to be back in Oregon and to join the team at Women’s Care. She is a member of the Perinatal Safety Committee at PeaceHealth Riverbend and also spends time advocating for policy changes around women’s health and birth. She looks forward to caring for people in Eugene and the surrounding communities and to providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare.
While living in New York, Madison was President of Columbia University’s chapter of Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health (a national organization which aims to increase access to comprehensive medical education surrounding reproductive health), worked as an RN in an outpatient infertility clinic and focused her individual studies on birth trauma.
