Anne Nora, MD
Practices at Eugene: The Ten Coburg
Dr Nora was raised in Waterloo, IA where she admired her physician father’s devotion to his patients. After high school, she spent a gap year in Madrid, Spain with the Rotary International Youth Exchange program. She studied Biology and Spanish at St. Louis University, graduating summa cum laude, and later graduated in the top 10% of her class from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Throughout these years, her volunteer work focused on women’s health in Spanish speaking communities.
During her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, Dr. Nora served as Administrative Chief Resident and received awards for clinical, surgical, and teaching excellence. She is particularly proud of being selected by Mayo Clinic medical students for the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Nora chose OB/GYN to form long-term relationships with patients. She practices shared decision making by learning her patients’ values and discussing evidence, options, and recommendations to guide reproductive health choices.
Her expertise spans low-risk prenatal care to complex pregnancy management. Gynecological interests include abnormal bleeding, menopause, vulvar dermatology, complex contraception, and abnormal pap smears. Surgical skills include vaginal and laparoscopic/robotic hysterectomies, fibroids, ovarian cysts, hysteroscopy, sterilization procedures, and vulvar/vaginal surgery.
Dr. Nora loves running and hiking in Eugene with her husband and dog, gardening, and supporting her husband’s cooking and baking hobbies. She also enjoys sand volleyball, biking, and visiting family on the West Coast and Midwest. She and her husband love college sports and are big Ducks football fans!
