Laura obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska. After working for several years as a nurse in Women’s Health she returned to school for her Master of Nursing degree. She attended Frontier Nursing University, the oldest Midwifery school in the country.

Laura became a mother in her teens and has always felt the need to treat adolescents with respect and care. She feels that people in general respond better and learn more when they are treated as individuals. She enjoys teaching and learning about women throughout their life span every single day.

Laura was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to the Central Valley in California when she began practicing as a Midwife. She has four grown children as well as four grandchildren. She has been married to her husband Robert for over 20 years. Laura has always been an animal lover. Her home belongs to three rescue dogs at this time, and they are all loved to pieces.

Laura and her family are looking forward to learning more about all the beauty and outdoor activities that Oregon has to offer! She has always loved the coast and her husband is partial to the mountains, so they can not imagine a more perfect home.
