Molly Raths, CGC
Practices at Center for Genetics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Molly Raths earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, where she double-majored in biology and Hispanic studies with a minor in psychology. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2025.
Molly’s path to genetic counseling began in high school, when a visit to the Science and Industry Museum in Chicago matched her interests, skills, and passions to the profession. From that moment, she set her sights on becoming a genetic counselor—pursuing her goal through her studies, employment, and volunteer work. Her role at Women’s Care represents the fulfillment of that lifelong dream.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Molly has also lived in Dallas, Texas, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Drawn to Oregon’s natural beauty and excited to work in a prenatal setting, she is happy to now call the Pacific Northwest home.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, visiting markets and vintage sales, and teaching new tricks to her dog, Ellie. Each summer, she looks forward to gathering with her extended family at their cabin in Canada.
