Sohee Williams, MD

Practices at Eugene: The Ten Coburg

Dr. Sohee Williams graduated from South Eugene High School and continued her education at the University of Oregon. She completed a degree in biology and a minor in biochemistry before pursuing medical school at Oregon Health and Science University where she met her husband. They both attended residency at the University of Kansas before moving back to Eugene to be healthcare providers in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Dr. Williams embraces the big-picture human experience both personally and professionally.  She is invested in providing inclusive access, health education/literacy/equity, and protecting our changing healthcare landscape for her patients and our community.  Her approach to healthcare is to navigate it as an opportunity for positive lifelong change.

Dr. Williams has interests in family planning, contraception, low and high-risk obstetrics, general gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery including Da Vinci Robotics.  She is passionate about the education and guidance of adolescent and young adult patients as they transition to take ownership of their healthcare knowledge and choices. She is committed to providing personalized care to her patients through all chapters of their lives.

Dr. Williams was born in South Korea, and grew up splitting her time between two continents – she ping-ponged her way across the Pacific Ocean multiple times a year until medical school.  It has provided her with a great sense of understanding of cultural inclusion, which is something she incorporates into her patient care.
