Women’s Care obstetrician/gynecologists recommend testing for STDs with every new partner change to keep you safe.
Women’s Care can provide appropriate testing for a range of sexually transmitted diseases. We recommend testing of both partners before engaging in sexual activity. Testing usually includes that for chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis, hepatitis and HIV. Testing can also be performed after encounters. Sometimes repeat testing is recommended as it can take time for the test to become accurate after potential exposure. Please ask your Women’s Care provider for testing if you feel you are at risk.
